Recovery & Support
WELCOME TO OUR RECOVERY & SUPPORT MINISTRIES
Getting through life can sometimes be a struggle. It's even worse if you're trying to go it alone. Jesus never promised it would be easy, but He did promise that He would always be with us (Matthew 28:20). He accomplishes this, in part, through our relationships and support of each other.
If you're struggling in life or if you've gone through hardship, let us come alongside and share with you the comfort, care, support and understanding that comes from the Lord. Join others who have gone through similar experiences in life and gain strength.
You'll also find people who have been through the same things you have. Together you can share your struggles, strengths, hurts and hopes, and overcome through community, God’s Word and the power of the Holy Spirit. In addition to having two licensed counselors on staff, we offer faith-based classes listed below.
Scholarships are available for all classes. Please don't let the cost prohibit you from attending. Contact the class leader for more information on scholarships.
For more information about Recovery Ministries please contact Adam Hieb at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Next Session begins Monday, September 11, 2017 | 6:30 - 8:30pm
Cost: $25 and includes the workbook*
If you've gone through a divorce or you're separated and in the process of a divorce, we understand how hard it's been and how hurt you feel. Divorce Care is a nondenominational class/support group that offer's understanding, encouragement, hope and healing. Each week will include video learning and small group time to share and receive support from others in the group.
It's best to start Divorce Care with the first class of the session because each topic is so important. If you do start attending at any time after the session has started, you can always come to the next session and catch up on the classes you missed. Registration will be closed when the class is full.
We also offer a separate children's class called Divorce Care For Kids (DC4K). This class is for children ages 5 through 12. The material correlates with the same subjects the adult class will be focusing on. There is a charge for the DC4K’s class and more information on DC4K’s is below. Childcare for children under age 5 or those not wanting to take the DC4K’s class will be available at no charge.
If you have questions or if you would prefer to register in person please contact us prior to the first class. Class space is limited and for planning purposes we appreciate your registering in advance using the link below or by calling us.
*If you already have the workbook, there is no charge to take the class. However, please register so we know to expect you.

DIVORCECARE FOR KIDS (DC4K)
Next Session begins Monday, September 11, 2017 | 6:30 - 8:30pm
Cost: $20 per child and includes the workbook.
Divorce or separation has a great emotional impact on all members of a family. If your child/children are feeling confused, angry or sad about what is happening in their family, DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) is a non-denominational group that provides a safe place for children to productively explore and process how they are feeling.
Each session includes a variety of interactive biblically based activities including: music, games, videos, discussion and stories. These activities provide a fun and safe environment for children to learn about divorce and separation in a way that makes sense to them. The DC4K class also mirrors the weekly topics discussed in the adult DivorceCare class, so this provides a great opportunity to open up discussion and improve communication between parents and children. DC4K is only for children of parents who are attending DivorceCare at the same time.
It is most beneficial for children to attend the class in its entirety and in sequence, as the topics discussed each week build on one another. However, children are welcome to join the group at any point during the 13-week session, and will find a safe and encouraging place to share their feelings at any time they may join.
The content and set-up of this class is specifically designed for children ages 5-12 years old. The curriculum is not designed for children below or exceeding this age range, and may not address the age specific needs and level of development of younger or older children.
